Ductogram is done when a patient has nipple discharge. Radiologist introduces contrast media (dye) into the mammary duct by using a very fine cannula introduced into the orifice of the nipple. In the procedure, the patient may feel mild discomfort. After injection of the dye, mammograms will be taken again.
