Radiology is a fast moving field,
we need to explore and understand how these new capabilities can
be used more efficiently in managing patients with current accepted
knowledge. Furthermore there is a need to extend the boundaries
of our knowledge regarding the etiology and treatment of diseases.
The department actively supports
research of other faculties and interests generated within the department
which cover a wide spectrum in radiology. Areas of ongoing research
include hepatoma, paediatric urinary tract, nasopharyngeal carcinoma,
lymph node, breast, cerebrovascular disease, musculoskeletal imaging
and metabolic disorders.
